BlankFor.ms is the project of Brooklyn-based composer and electronic musician Tyler Gilmore, whose work centers on degradation, memory, and the expressive potential of archaic media.
His recordings include After the Town Was Swept Away (Leaving Records, 2025), his most recent solo album, and Shards (Red Hook Records, 2026), a collaborative trio album with Jason Moran and Marcus Gilmore. He has also composed for film and games, contributing to the Academy Award Best Picture–nominated Nickel Boys, and his tape-focused sample packs have found a wide audience among producers and sound designers worldwide.
